After the nor'easter, a roof made whole
An oak limb punctured a clay tile roof. We tarped it the same evening and rebuilt the damaged slope after claim approval.

The challenge
A limb broke 40 tiles and cracked two rafters during a March storm, with rain forecast for three more days.
What we did
Storm crew tarped and sandbagged the opening within four hours of the call.
Documented damage with dated photos and a line-item scope for the adjuster.
Sistered two rafters and replaced decking with the carpentry partner.
Relaid 9 squares of salvaged and matched clay tile with new copper flashing.
The result
The claim was approved on the first adjuster visit, and the repaired slope is difficult to pick out from the street.
They were on our roof in the rain before our insurance company even called back.
