Slates we install or re-lay, copper fasteners and flashing we fabricate, including labor to correct defects.

Original slates we did not handle, damage from foot traffic, falling limbs or satellite installers.

Copper soldered seams
Covers
Leaks at soldered seams, miters and expansion joints on copper we fabricate.
Excludes
Clogging from debris, ice damage to unheated gutters, contact corrosion from later dissimilar metals.

Roof replacement workmanship
Covers
Installation errors including flashing, underlayment laps and ventilation details.
Excludes
Manufacturer material defects (covered separately), acts of nature beyond rated wind speeds.
Up to 50 years
Manufacturer system coverage
Covers
Shingle, membrane and panel defects under the manufacturer's registered system warranty.
Excludes
Terms vary by product; we register the warranty and give you the certificate.

Standing seam finish

Chalking and fading beyond manufacturer limits on painted steel panels.

Scratches, coastal salt exposure within 1,500 feet of salt water (limited coverage).
Warranty questions
Every project closes with a written certificate listing the warranties that apply, the registration numbers for manufacturer coverage, and maintenance guidance.
Contact the office about a claimWorkmanship warranties transfer once to a new owner with written notice within 60 days of closing (sample terms). Manufacturer warranties follow the manufacturer's rules.
Unauthorized alterations such as satellite dishes or solar mounts installed by others through the roof, lack of reasonable maintenance, and damage from storms beyond rated conditions (sample terms).
