A wraparound porch, returned to painted metal
Replaced a failing rolled roofing porch with painted standing seam and restored the main slate roof.

The challenge
The wraparound porch had been covered in rolled roofing in the 1970s and was leaking into the beadboard ceiling.
What we did
Removed rolled roofing and repaired the porch deck and fascia.
Roll-formed painted steel panels on site in a dark green matched to archival photos.
Replaced 186 slates and re-flashed two chimneys on the main roof.
Added snow guards above the front steps.
The result
The porch looks like the 1900 photograph the owners found in the attic, and the beadboard ceiling was repainted dry.
We showed them one old photo and they matched the porch roof color on the first try.
